1. Accessing Microsoft 365

To download and install Microsoft Excel, you need a valid subscription to Microsoft 365. Follow these steps to create an account if you don’t already have one:

• Step 1: Visit the Microsoft Website
  • Open a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
  • Go to the Microsoft 365 website and click on “Sign In” if you have an account. If not, click on “Create One.”
• Step 2: Subscribe to Microsoft 365
  • Once signed in, navigate to the Microsoft 365 subscription page.
  • Select your preferred plan (monthly or yearly) and click on “Buy Now.”
  • Follow the instructions to complete your subscription purchase.

2. Installing Microsoft 365

After completing your subscription, you can begin the installation process:

• Step 3: Install Microsoft 365 Apps
  • Return to the Microsoft 365 website and sign in with your account.
  • Click on the “Install Apps” option from the top right corner of the page.
  • Select “Microsoft 365 apps,” which includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Choose your preferred language and click “Install.”
• Step 4: Download and Run the Setup File
  • The Office setup file will start downloading automatically.
  • Locate the downloaded file in your File Explorer.
  • Run the setup file by double-clicking on it, then follow the installation prompts and agree to the terms and conditions.

3. Opening Microsoft Excel

After successfully installing Microsoft Excel, you can launch the application:

• Step 5: Launch Microsoft Excel
  • Find Microsoft Excel in your Start menu or by searching for it in the search bar.
  • You may be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft account the first time you open the application.
